The date is 17/11/25, and SOLITERA has released! Below are some details about the main features of the first version of the game:
THE MAIN MENU:
> The main menu is the hub for SOLITERA. It currently features a title screen animation sequence, along with some ‘Menu Cards’.
> Menu Cards can be placed in the centre of the Main Menu to launch a game mode. In this launch version, the Menu Card featured is ‘SOLO’.
> There are three other Menu Cards here, all named ‘???’. These are modes that will be revealed in the future.
NEW GAME MODE:
> KLONDIKE is now available as a game mode. This is the most commonly played form of Solitaire, so I decided to launch with this mode first.
> Selecting the ‘SOLO’ card will launch this mode automatically.> This mode can be played in a ‘Draw 1’ format. Other formats will be added in upcoming updates.
MECHANICS:
> You can drag and drop solitaire cards by holding and releasing the left mouse click.
> If a card can be placed in the area it’s being dropped, it will snap into place.
> If the card cannot be placed, it will return to it’s original position.
